Warehouses, Storage Facilities, and Industrial Complexes

Integrated security for logistics and industrial environments

Tailored solutions designed to protect access points, goods, systems, storage areas, and production zones, ensuring constant security monitoring and efficient management of complex facilities.

Warehouse and storage facility security

Meeting the security needs of warehouses and industrial complexes requires an integrated, multi-layered approach, customised according to the size of the facility, the presence of equipment and systems, stored assets and goods, and the authorisation levels required for access.

In environments of this type, it is essential to adopt a solution capable of reliably managing access points, perimeters, ground storage areas, shelving systems, automated warehouses, and production environments, while maintaining high security standards without slowing down daily operations.

NetCom Security Group develops dedicated solutions for warehouses and industrial facilities, designing tailor-made systems that integrate the most suitable technologies based on the structure’s layout, logistics flows, type of stored goods, level of existing automation, and required level of protection.

Each project is designed to provide concrete coverage of the most exposed areas, with particular attention to entry points, outdoor spaces, loading and unloading zones, warehouses, internal departments, and restricted environments, including office areas.

Every installation is designed to provide full 360° supervision of the facility through efficient event monitoring, including non-hostile events such as authorised entries within the perimeter, as well as the ability to remotely supervise the system.
This allows for timely notifications, rapid verification of potential issues, and continuous protection of goods, company assets, and operational continuity.

The goal is to deliver a modern, reliable, and customised solution capable of adapting to the complexity of industrial environments, the organizational needs of the company, and the requirement to ensure security, operational order, and constant protection of logistics and production areas.

Frequently asked questions

How are loading and unloading areas protected without slowing down deliveries?

By separating authorised flows from the areas that must stay reserved. Controlled gates, video coverage and protected entrances can be organised according to vehicles, bays and operating hours. NetCom Security Group starts from the routes actually used by drivers and staff to define management consistent with deliveries. The aim is more controllable logistics, with relevant alerts and clear operating steps.

Can I protect the warehouse while offices or departments keep working?

Yes. The system can be divided into areas with different protection modes. A closed warehouse, an active department and the offices can have dedicated hours and authorisations, coordinated with the gates that connect them. This arrangement is useful on sites with shifts, evening activity or partial use of the spaces: it keeps inactive zones protected and makes daily management simpler.

What role does outdoor protection play in an industrial warehouse?

Outdoor protection makes it possible to detect events in the approach areas and to verify what is happening before the indoor spaces are affected. Perimeter sensors and cameras are chosen considering size, fencing, yards, lighting and authorised movements. The perimeter protection project is coordinated with access and indoor detection, to follow the event across the different zones of the site and make it easier to manage.

How do I immediately know which part of the complex an alert comes from?

The configuration must make the building, department and device involved recognisable. Clear zone names, defined recipients and, where available, associated video verification help to read the alert in context. For a complex with several buildings, it is also established who handles events in the different time slots. This organisational work makes the system more useful to whoever looks after security every day.

Can the system grow if the areas, goods or departments to protect increase?

Yes. The possibility of expansion is assessed at the design stage, considering the control panel, connections, power supplies and platforms used. New storage areas or an additional department may require dedicated sensors, cameras and authorisations. Updating the project keeps coverage consistent with the evolution of the business and allows work to be scheduled in phases, making use of existing components that remain suitable and compatible.
