Frequently asked questions on costs and deductions
How much does an alarm system for a home cost?
The cost of a home alarm system depends on how many entrances and windows need protecting, on the security grade chosen (EN 50131), on wired, wireless or hybrid technology, on video verification and on the connected services, such as monitoring. After the site survey, NetCom Security Group delivers a written, item-by-item quotation in which installation, licences and fees are kept separate.
How much does a video surveillance system for a villa cost?
It depends on the number of cameras, their type (fixed, with video analytics, thermal), the coverage of the perimeter and garden, the recorder, the cabling and night lighting. For a villa NetCom Security Group defines quantities and positions after the site survey, with a technical study of each view: fewer, well-placed cameras cost less and perform better.
How much does a certified safe cost, installed?
The price depends on the EN 1143-1 resistance grade, the size, the type of lock, any fire resistance and the installation and anchoring conditions. NetCom Security Group starts from what has to be kept, proposes the appropriate class and lists safe, installation and connection to the alarm as separate items in the quotation.
How much does a safe room or panic room cost?
It depends on where it is created, on the level of protection of door, walls and ceiling, on the existing structure, on communications and ventilation, on integration with the alarm and cameras, and on the finishes. NetCom Security Group gives an estimate after the site survey and risk analysis, and an item-by-item quotation after the feasibility study.
How much does a strongroom in a villa cost?
The main items are the armoured door, the wall structure, the resistance grade, the internal systems (lighting, climate, alarm, access control) and the building work. There is no standard price: NetCom Security Group studies the room and prepares a made-to-measure proposal, separating design, supplies, works and testing.
How much does a private bunker cost?
It depends on the project: size, depth, access, planned length of stay, NBC filtration, energy, water and communications change the order of magnitude. NetCom Security Group sets the figure after the assessment, with a written item-by-item specification; periodic maintenance has to be budgeted from the start.
Why does NetCom set the price only after the site survey?
Because no two houses are the same: the same system costs differently depending on entrances, structure, existing cabling and risk. A “from” price is there to make you click, not to decide. NetCom Security Group prefers a site survey and a written quotation in which every item is explained and comparable with other offers.
What is included in the quotation and what recurs?
NetCom Security Group's quotation separates three things: the installed system (devices, installation, testing), the recurring costs (cloud licences, SIM cards, advanced notifications, connection to the monitoring centre) and the optional services (scheduled maintenance, 24/7 support). So you know from day one what you pay once and what you pay every year.
Italian security bonus 2026: how much is deducted and who is entitled?
For expenses incurred in 2025 and 2026 the Italian income tax (IRPEF) deduction is 50% on the main residence and 36% on other properties, up to 96,000 euros per property unit, spread over ten yearly instalments (Italian Revenue Agency, 2026 Budget Law). The 50% rate applies to the owner or holder of a real right; tenants and cohabiting family members get 36%. The specific case must be confirmed with your tax adviser.
Which security expenses are deductible and which are not?
Work on the property against theft and assault is deductible: alarm system, cameras, built-in safes, security and armoured doors, window bars, including the invoiced site survey and installation. The monitoring company's fee, service subscriptions and portable devices are not deductible. NetCom Security Group lists on the invoice the items relevant to the deduction.
How do you pay to obtain the deduction?
By “talking” bank transfer (bonifico parlante), i.e. with a reference that cites the deduction, the tax code of the payer and NetCom Security Group's VAT number; the invoice lists the items of work. Payments in cash or by other means do not entitle you to the deduction. Keep the invoice and the transfer receipt for your tax return.
Do a second home and a rented home get the deduction?
Yes, at 36% for 2025 and 2026 expenses: the second home because it is not the main residence, the rented home because the tenant is not the owner; in both cases the payer must hold a title on the property and have the invoices made out in their name. NetCom Security Group prepares the expense documentation in the same way for every case.
